Put into the context of students working in a project.The project needs to be able to be done at home by the students. Involve the parents-very active involvement with the parents and the students.This is so as not only to get the students to do the project but you are teaching the parents about web two
- design a project based in web 2 technology
- make sure it involves the parents in everyway. So the parents really understand how modern technology is being used for education.
get the students to teach someone else= students will learn best
construct the project in a way that the parents MUST complete some part of the assignment.
A good idea is to send home a note regarding the assignment, and letting them know before. We want the parents to be involved in the learning so that the students will receive more affirmation from parents.
